This is exactly what has been used in the Apple iPhone due to release in a couple of months. Apple apparently holds the patents for multi-touch interfaces and so this could be a big USP for the iPhone. Rumours are this would also be available in the iPod and the Mac notebooks in the future.
Sumesh, you are right in the sense that Apple iPhone will also have a multi-touch interface. However, I believe that the iPhone’s interface is going to be a much smaller subset of what is demonstrated in this video. But in any case, it will be pretty cool…
