Amazon girl with baby alligator

An anonymous commenter points out that this is really a Caiman and not an alligator. True; “Real” alligators exist only in North America and China. But based on the Wikipedia entry on this subject, it appears to me that it is OK to refer to them as “alligators” for normal (non-scientific) usage. So I am going to leave the title unchanged.
There are no “alligators” in South AMerica. The child is holding a caiman.
hooray for caimans!
