\n C) What is it with your heart that it breaks so easy?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

and<\/p>\n

Tea For Two (A Tragedy)<\/p>\n

It wasn’t until after
\n I poured the second
\n Cup that I realized
\n I was alone<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

and also:<\/p>\n

\n

You with the stars in your eyes
\n Put them back in the sky
\n You are ruining it for the rest of us<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This reminds me of Grooks by Piet Hien<\/a>:<\/p>\n

\n

Problems worthy
\n of attack
\n prove their worth
\n by hitting back.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

and<\/p>\n

\n

Taking fun
\n as simply fun
\n and earnestness
\n in earnest
\n shows how thoroughly
\n thou none
\n of the two
\n discernest.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

and:<\/p>\n

\n

We ought to live
\n each day as though
\n it were our last day
\n here below.<\/p>\n

But if I did, alas,
\n I know
\n it would have killed me
\n long ago.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

and:<\/p>\n

\n

A poet should be of the
\n old-fahioned meaningless brand:
\n obscure, esoteric, symbolic, —
\n the critics demand it;
\n so if there’s a poem of mine
\n that you do understand
\n I’ll gladly explain what it means
\n till you don’t understand it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

and finally:<\/p>\n

\n

Here lies, extinguished in his prime,
\n a victim of modernity:
\n but yesterday he hadn’t the time —
