It’s 7:15am, and Abu needs to start getting ready for school by 7:30. He also likes to watch a little TV before that. And, if some day, he doesn’t wake up before 7:30, he gets a little grumpy because he didn’t get to watch TV.<\/p>\n
So I go to his room and try to wake him.<\/p>\n
“Abu, wake up, or you’ll miss TV.”<\/p>\n
Abu stirs. Opens his eyes. Looks at me.<\/p>\n
Frowns.<\/p>\n
Then says, “I didn’t finish my dream!”<\/p>\n
Short pause.<\/p>\n
“I want to finish it.”<\/p>\n
And goes back to sleep.<\/p>\n
So here I am, thinking that I’ll let him sleep for as long as he wants.<\/p>\n
