Weekend trip to Nilshi

We went to Nilshi, near Lonavala this weekend for a Baldawa family get-together. It was a beautiful place next to a lake in the middle of the forest. I managed to get some really nice photographs that I plan on putting up here in the next few days. For now, here is a photograph of a waterfall nearby. For best effect, see the larger image by clicking on the photo above. If you look closely, you will see a bunch of people at the foot of the waterfall. That is the Baldawa family.

    we are planning for monsoon weekend next month & dont wanna go to usual matheran or lonaval khandla.

    can u give me idea , Where is this place Nilshi & what is way of transport from mumbai any buses trains goes there.

    YMCA owns the place where we stayed, and I am not aware of any other places to stay in that area.
